*Job Description* Hall Equipment dba Heyl & Patterson is looking for a full-time receptionist to join our team.
We are looking for a personable, motivated individual who is comfortable working with people and has a positive attitude.
The receptionist will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to organize their work under strict time deadlines, and be able to multitask effectively.
*Qualifications* *High school diploma or equivalent required* * 2 years of customer service experience required * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment * Must be comfortable working with people * Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook * Must be comfortable using a computer for data entry and other repetitive tasks * Knowledge of office equipment such as printers, fax machines, scanners, etc.
* Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Responsibilities: *Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with any inquiries or questions they may have regarding the company.
* * Answer phone calls and take messages in the company phone system.
Answer calls on other lines simultaneously.
Answer emails from customers as they come in the door.
Email addresses will be provided at the time of hire.
* Provide information about the company, products, services, policies, and deadlines to customers as needed.
This includes answering questions about our company culture and policies.
It is also important that customers understand their order status when making purchases from our website or phone order lines.
If the customer has requested that we ship their order over the phone, then we need to discuss the shipping options with them before we can finalize their shipping details over the phone.
We do not sell any merchandise over the phone unless it is an immediate purchase (e.

, gift cards) or unless it is ordered over the phone during business hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm PST).
