*Responsibilities and duties*
* Design, develop, and maintain Access databases to meet our specific data management needs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Access databases with other business applications.
* Provide ongoing support and training to users on Access database functionality.
* Ensure the security and integrity of the database systems.
Collaborating with management, departments and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
* Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems
* Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
* Testing and deploying programs and applications.
* Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software.
* Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.
* Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products
* Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects

*Required skills and experience.

* Proven experience in developing and managing databases with Microsoft Access.
* Proficiency in VBA programming for custom Access applications.
* Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
*Preferred skills and experience*
* Experience with SQL Server and other database management systems such as MySQL is a plus.
* Familiarity with data migration from older systems to newer versions of Access.
* Knowledge of front-end development for creating user-friendly database interfaces.
* A desire to learn new technologies and contribute to the further enhancements of new emerging technologies in Web Development
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in application development
* Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
* Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team
* Proficiency in popular coding languages including Python, Java and C++ and frameworks or systems such as AngularJS and Git are a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,409.
95 - $102,859.
