Job Description: General Education Teacher with Special Education Degree
Position Overview:
The General Education Teacher is responsible for providing academic support, managing scholar's testing needs, providing documentation of course completion, and developing activities and opportunities for life skills growth.
This individual will work closely with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality education and support a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
1.
Provide Academic Support:
- Deliver instruction in accordance with the subject area curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with diverse needs.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and resources to engage learners and promote academic growth.
- Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and offer additional support as needed.
2.
Manage Scholar's Testing Needs:
- Administer and proctor tests and assessments, ensuring a secure and fair testing environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student test scores and performance data.
- Analyze assessment results to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align testing practices and ensure consistent evaluation of student progress.
3.
Provide Documentation of Course Completion:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, and grades.
- Prepare progress reports and report cards in a timely manner.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding scholar progress and areas for improvement.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss academic performance and growth opportunities.

Develop Activities and Opportunities for Life Skills Growth:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.
00 - $55,000.
