AEA requests (internal applications) will be accepted online until 2:00 pm on 4/16/2024 External applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
NOTE: The need and number of positions including grade level will be will be determined by the needs of the students enrolled.
Compensation: $20 per hour in accordance with the AEA CBA Summer Course Dates: June 3, 2024 - June 28, 2024 (no school on June 19) Training Dates: May 28, 2024 through May 31, 2024 from 8 am to 3 pm Duties and Responsibilities: Perform all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Austintown Local School District Policy and Procedures Follow and execute the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession Implement a combination of teacher lead instruction utilizing technology-based curriculum Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Summer School Principal, Building Principal, Director of Curriculum, and/or Superintendent Requirements: The following are required prior to starting assignment Valid Ohio Teaching License in appropriate teaching area Favorable State and Federal background checks Official Sealed Transcripts Negative drug screen result Employees must follow all board policies, all state, and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education.
