EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position you will function as lead worker by assigning, participating in, and reviewing routine and specialized tasks performed by inmates in the areas of pre-preparation, production, service, and baking.
You will ensure proper control over inmates by enforcing custody and security regulations and inspecting all food service areas, equipment, and food for conformance with established safety and sanitation standards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per weekWork hours are 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Schedule will be determined during the hiring process.
Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $44,753 (before taxes).
This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
