Position:
Middle School Principal
2024-2025 school year
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid State of Ohio principal license/certificate, grades 4-9 or principal 5-12.
Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate the mission and goals of the school building.
Documented history of successful experience as a teacher, supervisor or administrator.
Documented history of strong attendance habits.
Demonstrated knowledge in curriculum development, an understanding of the academic content standards, student assessment, student intervention and professional development.
Demonstrated leadership with building level teams as well as in analyzing a wide variety of building level data.
Holds or will obtain OTES certification for conducting Teacher and Counselor Evaluations.
Demonstrated familiarity with online testing protocols and implementing the integration of technology in instruction.
Must possess the ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents and personnel.
Successful BCII & FBI background checks.
Educational and Instructional Leadership:
Fosters a positive school climate, with a strong sense of academic mission and with high expectations conveyed to students and staff.
Stimulates and motivates staff to maximum performance in instruction and management.
Develops a realistic and objective system of accountability for learning.
Serves as facilitator of educational and instructional development.
Administrative-Managerial:
Implements board policies and district administrative practices.
Plans and conducts staff meetings.
Plans and conducts regular methods and protocols for staff communication.
Maintains standards of student discipline designed to command respect of students and parents.
Provides for health, safety and welfare of students.
Evening commitments include, but are not limited to: sporting events, family engagement & outreach, concerts, PTO meetings.
Camp Fitch Coordinator.
Creating and implementing a master schedule for the building.
Potential other duties.
Salary:
Based on Administrative Experience
Contract:
215 days per year
