Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications: At least a Bachelor's degree in social work from a CSWE accredited program with a Master's degree in a related field or at least a Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program.
Minimum of two years of professional social work practice experience.
Experience in activities congruent with the subject matter being taught.
Commitment to social work values as outlined in the NASW.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience at the college level or professional social work training experience.
Experience supervising social work students enrolled in social work programs.
Evidence of ability to engage students in learning social work subject matter.
