Rooster - adult Easter Egger (MINERAL RIDGE)

Herbert is a 1.
5 year old Easter Egger rooster.
Free to a good home.
We are changing chicken breeds and will no longer need his "services".
Herbert is unique in that he keeps 50 to 60 some odd hens fertilized all by himself.
Usually a 100% fertility rate no matter how many hens you throw at him.
He makes sure they are all "taken care of" just as they come off the roost bars in the morning.
None escape his romantic advances.
He just won't have it! lol He WILL catch them! He's very good to his girls though and they follow him around.
He calls to them to show them treats when he finds something to eat.
He lets them eat first.
While he can and does keep the girls fertilized without any help, he is willing and open and to having other roosters share in the duties whenever we have a few extra fellas around for a time until we find those ones new homes.
His babies come in so many amazing colors.
With his blue egg gene, he makes daughters that lay blue, green, pink, gray, olive, and tan eggs.
This makes for a beautiful egg basket! Herbert is not for a home with children.
He is very protective of his girls and their chicks.
If you pick one up in his presence he will attack your boots or ankles.
Best not to have children around him for this reason.
