Mid ‘80’s to mid ‘90’s dining set.
Oak clawfoot/ball-and-claw pedestal style 48” x 72” dining table, with removable leaf, in a medium oak color.
The set includes 4 solid oak spindle construction side chairs, and 2 matching captains / arm style chairs for a total of six (6) chairs.
You can configure the set as a 48” round table and 4 side chairs if you prefer.
There are some minor marks and scratches, one relatively long scratch in the finish on the table top.
The chairs are extremely solid, no noises or squeeks to speak of and they are 100% stable.
The table has a very heavy base, but has a slight wobble on the table top, the table slide to pedestal connection is a little loose most likely due to midhandling (moving the table without disassembly.
) I recommend disassembly of the table before moving, and for any repairs to be made before re-assembling in it’s new home.
Upon request I can share pics showing the area where the wobble occurs.
This set will make someone a really nice long-term dining set.
A lot of years left in this set, its well made.
Not like the garbage they are selling at 75% of furniture retailers.
No cushions to rip, stain, or discolor.
If you really want a cushions, you can use the old tie-on cushion seat covers just like grandma used to use!
We’re only selling this because we’re changing the theme of our room to more of a pub feel and this table and chairs is more of a farmhouse/informal dining feel.
I would like this one gone this week, so it’s priced to move.
