Parts Counter Person

Counter Person Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders from customers and accurately process transactions using the cash register.
- Assist customers in finding the products they need and provide recommendations based on their requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area, including restocking merchandise and arranging displays.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Utilize computer systems, such as Excel and CMMS, to track inventory levels and monitor product availability.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements: - Previous experience in automotive service or retail sales is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers for processing transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel for inventory management purposes.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.
