The Parts Counter Associate's primary responsibilities include daily receiving of parts and accessory shipments, stocking shelves, merchandising and cashiering transactions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Merchandising Support
* Maintain our physical showroom, ensuring that PGA inventory is organized and presentable to potential buyers.
* Accurately receive and record daily PGA shipments.
Customer Engagement and Follow-Up
* Professional, friendly and efficient service to all PGA customers, including internal departments.
* Engage customers via telephone, e-mail, text and in-person visits.
* Accurately quote replacement part and optional equipment pricing.
* Aid buyers in selection of PGA options based on their individual preferences and needs.
* Introduce new products, features, accessories, etc.
and their benefits to buyers.
* Demonstrate products.
Execute the Sale
* Select appropriate PGA from dealer stock.
* Invoice PGA sales through the Lightspeed EVO dealer management system.
* Place customer orders for stock-out and special-order items.
* Provide post-sale support including special-order pick-up and shipping and warranty assistance.
Maintain Industry Knowledge
* Understand the terminology of the motorsports industry and keep abreast of technological changes in the products.
* Stay well-informed of new models, variants, accessories, options and products.
* Continue dealership and OEM-provided education through on-site demonstrations and online classes.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Associates will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, sales floor, service department, parts department, offices, and warehouse) for the majority of the day.
You will spend time outdoors delivering PGA items curbside as well as being exposed to noise, exhaust fumes, dust, hazardous, and non-hazardous materials.
Business Hours: Tuesday – Thursday, 10AM-7PM, Friday – Saturday, 10AM-5PM.
Associates are expected to report and leave 15-minutes before opening and after closing, respectively.
