Cashier Job Description Location: Garrettsville, OH, 44231 We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at our Garrettsville location.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities: Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers Scan goods and collect payments Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets Redeem coupons and vouchers Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information Greet customers when entering or leaving the store Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies Bag, box or wrap packages Handle merchandise returns and exchanges Requirements: Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.
