COMPREHENSIVE JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Donation Attendant - Store REPORT TO: Store Manager JOB SUMMARY Employee may open Attended Collection Center each day and keep a regular schedule.
Will greet people who come to the center to donate items; will accept donations; place and sort; give tax receipt; thank each donor and pass out literature available.
Employee will keep surroundings neat and clean and secure Center at the end of each day.
Employee will not leave Center unattended and will notify supervisor or backup person as instructed.
Will also assist driver in loading and unloading truck.
Employee will be able to read basic work instructions and record information.
Employee will annually review the Corporate Responsibility Policy to ensure departmental compliance with it.
Make suggestions for revisions, additions, etc.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE/LICENSE REQUIRED Elementary school is helpful, but not required.
No other education is required.
HOURS WORKED Part Time, up to 29 hours.
NUMBER OF DAYS WORKED Sunday through Saturday as scheduled.
Ability to work a flexible schedule is a must.
OVERTIME HOURS Generally overtime hours are not scheduled; however, overtime may be required based on the needs of the company.
