We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.
You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
*M&R Equipment Sales Representative* The role of M&R’s Equipment Sales Representative is to proactively, systematically, and efficiently develop and nurture new and existing direct business as a contributor toward company goals and revenue objectives.
We are looking for a qualified candidate who will use professional business judgement while making decisions and will be prepared to define plans, justify actions, and identify new tactics as appropriate, while meeting quotas and adhering to a proper business work ethic.
In this role you will be responsible for selling new and used equipment to returning and prospective customers, while continually meeting sales quotas and maintain effective programs of capturing business.
You can expect to work with the multiple product lines we carry, while continually improving product knowledge and sales techniques.
If you meet our qualifications, are self-motivated, flexible, and able to support Saturday hours of operation, we are looking for you! *Qualifications:* · Previous sales experience preferred · Experience with heavy equipment, agriculture, lawn and garden, and landscaping equipment preferred · Proven people skills with effective experience in consultative selling · Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation and management skills required, as well as a strong business work ethic positive attitude and professional demeanor · Must demonstrate competence in management, networking and relationship nurturing, and target marketing to specific prospects · Work under the guidelines and directives of the Management Team for all campaigns · Advance MS Office skills · Valid driver’s license · Must be willing to work weekends and some evenings, including times during company events and trade shows *Core Responsibilities of M&R Equipment Sales Representatives:* M&R’s Equipment Sales Representatives are responsible for ensuring that they: · Represent M&R in a positive and professional manner · Develop plans for key prospects and close customer business · Develop a daily/weekly call list and maintain information accuracy on a consistent basis · Submit quotes to customers, while negotiating as necessary to secure and close contracts · Track personal sales to provide detailed closed/pending sales statistics to Management Team · Work with the Management Team to identify sales lead sources and develop coordinated plans for key prospecting through segmentation practices · Deliver a written sales plan as requested, including a request for any support resources requite to meet sales goals and after approval, implement and execute approved sales plans · Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules · Track personal sales to provide detailed closed/pending sales statistics to the Management Team as requested · Continually strive to improve any areas of improvement in the company · Continually improve product knowledge and sales techniques to swiftly provide customers with new product awareness and training · Identify customer needs and provide solutions relative to M&R’s sales, parts, and service areas of business, while working collectively and collaboratively with respective departments · Ensure customer needs are anticipated and met faster, better, and more consistently than competition · Answer phones and assist with any customers in the showroom as needed · Perform product demonstrations as requested/needed by customers · Attend sales meetings as directed and planned *Measures of Performance* The following will be used to evaluate the performance of M&R’s Equipment Sales Representative.
Management objectives may be assigned to further measure and reward top performance based on industry demand and forecast: · Regularly meets performance targets for Sales Plan activities · Regularly meets or exceeds sales quotas · On-time performance, work ethic and quality of Personal Development Plans · Provides accurate forecasts, updates, and requested reports to Management Team · Demonstrates accountability for actions and able to lead by example Please include your education, previous employment, and three references when you apply.
