is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing safety net services to at-risk residents in Trumbull, Portage, and Ashtabula counties.
We are searching for an experienced communication professional who will assist the organization in its rapid growth and community outreach.
The position will be an integral member of the administrative team and have responsibility for planning, organizing, and directing SVdP communications and donor outreach programs.
The SM/C Coordinator will work closely with the CEO, Development Director and Board of Directors in all organizational activities including program/activity marketing, new program launch as well as donor and fundraising endeavors.

*Responsibilities*
* Write a variety of different content to support communication of fundraising, special events and donor outreach efforts, including newsletters, website copy, social media content, and press releases.
* Ownership of scheduling, posting and maintaining social media content, coordinating marketing efforts and ensuring campaigns are marketed appropriately.
* Create engaging text, image and video content to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new programs.
* Responsible for website development, overseeing and measuring web traffic, and monitor SEO.
* Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
* Facilitate online conversations with customers/donors and respond to queries.
* Work with administrative team and Thrift Store manager regularly to develop and post weekly store ads for social media sites.
* Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
* Oversee social media accounts’ layout.
* Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, donors, and volunteers.
* Plan press conferences and other promotional events to help keep the organization top of mind.
* Assist in the coordination of volunteers, staff, vendors and more to support promotional events.
* Perform outreach to press outlets, magazines, and influencers and build strategic partnerships to grow brand notoriety.
* Respond to media inquiries and maintain relationships with journalists and other members of the press.
* Assist the administration team in developing and implementing a communications strategy designed to further development objectives.
* Assist the administration team in developing and coordinating SVdP fundraisers and special events.
* Responsible for coordination of volunteer recruitment and activities.
* Will assist administrative team with communications/promotion for all fundraising activities and events.
* Perform other related duties as requested.
*Requirements/Qualifications*
* BS degree _*required *_in Marketing, New Media, Communications, PR or a relevant field.
* Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator with a proven track record of executing successful digital media campaigns– 2 years’ experience preferred.
* Expertise in multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
* Ability to produce creative content in clear, complete, and on-brand messaging form (text, image, and video).
* Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
* Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong multitasking and analytical skills a plus.
* Familiar with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Canva and WordPress a_*plus*_ and be capable of creating visually compelling presentations.
* Knowledge of email marketing software such as Constant Contact or a similar program.
* Experience developing and/or coordinating fundraisers and special events.
* In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.
