The Director of Marketing is a key leadership position which leads the organization’s corporate branding, digital marketing, and events (industry tradeshows).
The business is segmented into 4 complimentary markets, where this role will be responsible for leading / growing the marketing strategy for each segment as well as creating brand awareness, education, and ultimately growth.
Routinely, this position will partner with members of the executive and leadership teams to deliver on specific enterprise or business line priorities.
Partnering with agencies and or specialty firms to deliver on the marketing strategy, as well as finding practical solutions to discrete challenges.
Strong data analytical skills along with the ability to think creatively are crucial to the success of this role.
This is a great role for an emerging leader that is well rounded in all areas of Marketing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Partner with company leadership and other key teams to set and execute the roadmap for the company’s marketing.
Own the company’s marketing assets and platforms, including the websites, social media channels, marketing-related CRM functions, reporting and dashboards, brand development, offline collateral, and product labeling.
Build forecasts and projections that relate to the expected ROI on marketing campaigns, traffic and user acquisition, and other areas of marketing that require robust and data analysis and regression.
Solely responsible for lead generation, growth, and handoff across all product lines.
Manage relationships, external digital agencies, and specialist providers to lead the company’s position during the creative.
Collaborate with internal departments and product marketing leaders to develop and monitor strategic and digital marketing.
Analyze metrics/KPIs to measure the effectiveness and progress of the company’s digital presence.
Develop and maintain working knowledge and a knowledge base of psychological and UX theories that guide human behavior and decision.
Project manage all marketing-related initiatives under this position’s responsibility and ensure that delivery is on-time and adequate.
Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing techniques.
Identify and champion the use of new tools, channels, tactics, and experiments to drive continued growth.
Manage offline brand collateral, such as brochures, letterheads, and other templates which reflect the organization’s brand.
Ensure brand guidelines and standards are enforced.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and 12-15 years’ experience, or master’s degree in Marketing or related field.
Knowledge of content management system functionality.
Intermediate level knowledge of creative and design.
Fluency with social media platforms & publishing.
Ability and strong desire to develop new skills and capabilities covering data analysis, statistics, and search engines.
Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and the capacity to work independently.
Experience selecting and working with agencies and specialty firms.
Proven ability to develop a content & social media calendar.
