SUMMARY: Responsible for the client relationship functions and other daily activities of Retirement Plan Services’ (RPS) bundled clients within the Trust division.
This includes delivery of products and services, management of RPS personnel, administrative, audit, compliance and investment review services.
Servicing various types of retirement plans within the required and established guidelines for trust administration, while staying compliant with the regulations and tax laws of ERISA, the Department of Labor and federal and state agencies.
In addition, this position includes actively participating in the Farmers Trust Company (FTC) investment committee and sales related activities by assisting the FTC Retirement Plan Specialist with presentations and proposals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
Implement and manage all RPS bundled client retirement accounts including Profit Sharing, 401(k) and Defined Benefit plans.
Develop and maintain Plan Sponsor service standards and respond to participant and Plan Sponsor service requests.
Coordinate service issues and exchange information between participants, Plan Sponsors and record keepers.
Conduct client plan/investment reviews and assist at employee/participant education meetings.
Assist the FTC Retirement Plan Specialist in preparing q for new business opportunities.
Participate in and/or manage an administrative assistant in the support of all sales related activities within the bundled RPS area of FTC.
Coordinate with the RPS third party administration group in completing new client plan documents, restating and amending existing plan documents, discrimination and limits testing, contribution calculations, IRS form submissions, IRS/Dept.
of Labor audits, QDRO reviews and loan and distribution requests.
Manage the daily workflow of the FTC RPS area to include the following:
Input information on TrustSystem and Relius
Provide benefit application and loan forms to customers
Coordinate distributions and receipts
Fees/invoices
Account set-ups and closings
Other duties and projects as assigned for new business opportunities in the RPS
Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field
Minimum of five (5) years Trust and Investment experience and/or a combination of education and experience
Must demonstrate a working knowledge of ERISA and Investment regulations
Proven ability to coordinate, multi-task and communicate on multiple levels both within and outside the organization
