Mahoning Valley Scrappers - Marketing/Promotions Internship
Overview: As an extension of a student's classroom training in marketing and communications, the student will shadow regular employees and perform assigned tasks that will help the student develop marketing and communications skills such as:
Event planning and execution.
Human capital management and delegation.
Promotional and brand development.
Organizing game day promotions and performances
Help coordinate promo/entertainment team
Public speaking and customer service.
Developing content for marketing communications and public relations.
Donation and charitable giving as a means of branding and development of goodwill.
Communications through social media, website, and newsletter skills, including fan interaction and content creation for maximizing branding and development of goodwill.
In addition, the student will be provided with input from business executives on career paths and resources, such as resume building, interview practice, and sales training workshops and be provided with opportunities for personal discussions with employees about career paths.
The program is expected to run from May 2024 to September 2024.
