JOB SUMMARY
Assist in managing and developing the overall supervision and operation of the e-Commerce department.
Duties include, but are not limited to the improvement, development, and management of the operation, ShopGoodwill, Amazon, and any other source through which merchandise is sold digitally.
Assist in managing the receipt, distribution, sale and tracking of all goods sent to the department for processing.
Assists with online customers, processing returns, shelving and shipping orders, and training.

Recruits, schedules, develops, evaluates, and counsels his/her employees.
Maintains and assures safety in work areas.
Uses all safety attire and follows all safety practices.
Assist in facilitating the completion of all training guides.

Create and maintain an efficient and organized work area for the processing, photographing, and shipping of merchandise including a cataloging system for incoming and outgoing merchandise.
Maintains clean/safe workstations by ensuring work areas are organized, maintained, and cleaned at the end of each day.

Supervises and performs accurate initial sort, grading, of media donations, posting of media into inventory system, shelving and order processing.
Responsible for accurately shipping orders and exchanges, and for identifying the best shipment products to maximize revenue and customer service levels.
Ensures inventory growth, inventory maintenance and production goals are reached.

When assigned, develops and/or interprets reports for the consumption of other departments and retail staff.

Contributes to setting productivity goals for all employees and monitors performance to adjust as necessary to the growth of the business.
Responsible for maintaining performance standards at the appropriate levels for all listing sites.
Utilizes participatory management.
When assigned, conducts monthly one-on-ones with his/her employees to measure performance goals, identify development needs and cover any changes necessary for the success of the department.

Trains leadership team to manage all functions of the position in their absence.
Maintains a positive, team-oriented relationship with management, peers, and subordinates; encourages interactions between all departments.
Provide leadership, guidance and professional development to staff and encourages an environment of learning and growth.

When assigned, maintains daily sales and production reports and completes all scheduled accounting reports in a timely fashion.
When assigned, handles approval, correction and submission of department payroll and resolves payroll issues.
8.
Ensures customers receive efficient and courteous service.
Receives and answers, within established guidelines, customer questions and complaints.
9.
Submits supply orders when assigned.
Accurately inventories, maintains, and secures the supplies related to eCommerce.
10.
Demonstrates ethics and complies with the Corporate Compliance Program.
Ensures departmental equity and compliance with all company policies and procedures.
11.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE/LICENSE REQUIRED High school graduate or equivalent with courses in business and marketing preferred.
Two or four-year college degree is preferred.
Retail experience preferred.
Skills desired include: Communicate effectively in person, via email, and by telephone to deal with employees and the general public.
Determine qualities of merchandise received and shipped.
Use good judgment when a problem arises with customers, the public and employees.
Highly skilled with Windows PC and operating system, Microsoft Excel, and Internet applications.
Fluent in Microsoft Excel data entry.
Experienced in customer focused sales and support environments.
Must be able to multi-task, working both rapidly and efficiently.
Ability to identify training needs and create development plans to improve employees’ skills and performance.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to figure percentages and perform simple math computations.
