GENERAL FUNCTION
The Sales Representative’s responsibility is to achieve sales targets and deliver growth by consistently calling customers and providing best in class service.
The sales representative will discuss business needs, answer questions, and recommend business solutions.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieves monthly, quarterly, annual sales goals
Ensures client satisfaction and retention of assigned client base
Builds strong working relationship at all levels within the practices and provides outstanding customer service
Responds to inquiries and issues with sense of urgency
Contacts, qualifies, and prospects for new business
Serves as a subject matter expert for lab services provided by the Central Lab Group
Works with other company partners to help drive growth with accounts like Brand Specialists, MVC Specialists, and others
Conducts business reviews with customers to share performance and uncover areas of opportunity
Utilizes Qlik reporting tools to manage the territory and discover opportunities within the book of business
Attends required corporate training sessions, conference calls, team meetings and appointments within the district
Utilizes all marketing support and training materials to promote account growth
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Sales Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Strong interpersonal skills, i.
e.
, flexibility, adaptability, and a proven ability to work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to handle multiple, concurrent tasks at one time
Must have ability to learn, and develop, a working knowledge of the optical industry and our reporting tools
Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong phone presence
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
