Pine Electronics, Inc.
, is seeking an Electronics Assembler, focused on the successful completion of the conformal coating process for PCB assemblies.
In addition, this position is responsible for general electronics assembly that includes operations of a repetitive nature on electronic components and subassemblies using samples, schematics, simple drawings, as well as written and verbal instructions to perform assembly work.
Job Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Excellent mechanical aptitude, demonstrated through proficiency in both the understanding and use of complex manufacturing equipment.
* Competent to consistently don appropriate PPE associated with hot surfaces and airborne contaminates.
* Capable to lift and carry up to 10# routinely and up to 50# occasionally.
* Able to distinguish colors for color-coding purposes.
* Excellent eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity to work with very small parts.
* Communicate effectively and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and managers.
* Proficient at working independently to complete daily work assignments.
* Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
* Satisfactory results from all pre-employment screenings.
The candidate will be expected to perform the following essential functions:
* Utilize appropriate chemicals, processes and equipment to conformal coat PCB Assemblies.
Example processes include spray coating, flow coating, potting and application of adhesives.
* Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies.
* Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems; crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivets, solder, cement, press fits, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines and equipment.
* Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
* Operate drills and drill press.
* Follow safety and environmental regulations.
* Comply with Quality Management System procedures and requirements.
* Ability to cross train in other areas.
Preferred Additional Experience:
* Familiarity with basic measuring tools, electronics, and mechanical assembly tools.
* Knowledge and experience with handling and application of spray coating and adhesives.
