We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team.
As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to create high-quality products.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your welding expertise and contribute to the success of our company.
Responsibilities:
* Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials as required to complete tarping system installations and repairs
* Operating equipment including but not limited to: saws, drills, grinders/buffers, plasma cutters, MIG welder/torches, forklifts, scissors lifts, pallet jacks, driving a yard truck
* Reading and interpreting team leader instructions and written orders
* Repair customer equipment as required using equipment previously listed
* Meeting/exceeding customer requirements for production and quality
* Pay close attention to detail to ensure proper function and performance of installed/fabricated parts
* Notify the supervisor when the item is complete and ready for inspection
* Packaging/labeling items according to production guidelines
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Welding aluminum and steel using MIG welder (if able)
Experience:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
- Proficient in sheet metal fabrication and soldering techniques
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations
