Our work schedule is typically 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as required.
A typical day would include attending a startup meeting, receiving your job assignment, and completing different segments of the job until done for the day.
You will assist in gathering supplies, tools, cleaning, assembling, and following directions.
You will have the opportunity to learn all jobs and will have the opportunity to move between work centers regularly.
This job works in the manufacturing elements, so it’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
The job can be dirty, greasy, sweaty, and smelly at times.

*Responsibilities Include:*
* Perform all tasks according to standard operating procedures while ensuring the work environment is clean, safe, organized and maintained.
* Meet defined productivity requirements.
* Ability to read and understand blueprints.
* Capable of using engineered drawings to layout, fit up, assemble and fabricate.
* Weld structural and plate steel as specified per drawing and weld symbols.
* Ensure work processes are completed in a safe manner while following all required protocols.
* Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprint.
* Adept at using common power tools and their safe operations (standard shop tools, grinders, hand drills, impacts, wrenches).
* Accurately and efficiently perform tasks through to completion while taking ownership for the quality and integrity of components and finished goods.
* Safely operate overhead/jib cranes, grinder, and magnetic drill, as necessary.
* Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
* Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
* Obtain and maintain the required welding certification(s).
* Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by Company and OSHA standards.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor including but not limited to cleaning work area, and other production related jobs.
* Willing participant in process improvement activities.

*Preferred Experiences Include 2-4 years of the following:*
* Flux Cored Welding
* MIG Welding
* Fitting Capabilities
* Fixture Welding Experience
* Prior experience operating Overhead Crane or Jib preferred.
* Forklift experience preferred.
* Production Line Style Welding
