The company motto has always been to *_"Treat others as you would have them treat you"_* and we are in search of a full time Galvanizing Technician in our facility in Masury, Ohio.
*General Description:* Responsible for hot dip galvanizing rebar bolt threads required to complete customer orders in an efficient and safe manner by performing the following duties.
*Duties and Responsibilities*:
* Move raw material into and finished product out of the galvanizing area.
* Operate power tools, overhead crane, industrial fork truck, etc.
to process rebar bolts in the galvanizing area.
* Monitor various galvanizing process tank statuses and advise supervisor of necessary adjustments.
* Monitor galvanizing consumable levels (zinc, bismuth, etc.
) and advise supervisor of reorder needs.
* Complete required paperwork for galvanized material, nonconforming material, etc.
* Maintain pace with equipment operators to ensure material flows smoothly into and out of galvanizing work center and prevent back up or delays.
* Use basic measuring tools to maintain quality standards on each order.
* Maintain neat and accurate written production documentation as required.
* Read, interpret, and understand the job requirements of each customer order.
Communicate with supervisor to ensure a complete understanding of all information.
* Communicate all pertinent job related information to supervisor on a daily basis.
* Report any problems or quality concerns to supervisor immediately.
* Other related duties as assigned.

* Basic mechanical aptitude
* Basic reading and mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
* Dexterity skills & Balance
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
* Ability to lift (with hands & arms), bend, stoop, squat, stand or walk for extended periods of time
* Good oral & written communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
Full-Time Monday through Friday 6am-230pm
