Our A&E Technician assist in the manufacturing of liquid tank trailers by installing hydraulics and electrical wiring.
Please note that shift hours are Mon - Thurs 5:30am - 4:00pm with additional overtime.

What you will do:
Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
Install wiring and hydraulics to units in production.
Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.
Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
Lay out, position, align, and secure parts using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout and assembly.
Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required.
Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools.
Clean or degrease parts using wire brushes, portable grinders, or chemical baths.
Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
Other duties as assigned.
Able to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production schedules.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and installation.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics and installation.
Ability to accurately read and interpret drawings and prints.
Ability to accurately use and read micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and precision measuring instruments.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, crawl, and climb for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to work at heights of up to 15 feet.
