Senior Metallurgical/Process Engineer

Responsibilities: - Conduct metallurgical analysis and testing on various materials - Develop and implement quality control procedures for manufacturing processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency and product quality - Perform root cause analysis on product failures and implement corrective actions - Design and develop tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes - Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives - Provide technical support to production teams and assist in troubleshooting issues - Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies into manufacturing processes Skills: - Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles and processes - Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for designing tooling and fixtures - Mechanical engineering background with a focus on materials science - Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen - Ability to perform root cause analysis using various techniques - Knowledge of programming languages for automation and data analysis (e.
