Quality Inspector

Ensure adherence to quality management system, manufacturing processes and customer specifications by verifying all production documents are correct, signed and order is complete.

Inspection of inbound materials 2.
Inspection of work in process, finished products and final inspection on all orders not signed off by QA.
3.
Completes dock audits to ensure all pertinent labels, stickers and identifiers are present on each shipment.
4.
Verification of associated paperwork, photo documentation of items being packed and loaded as well as creation of reports.
5.
Assist in investigations regarding non-conformances.
6.
Ensure output meets quality standards, spot checking measurements on high priority jobs/items.
7.
Ensure all health and safety precautions are taken, policies are followed and enforced.
8.
The Quality Inspector may be reassigned to other work matching their qualifications from time to time.
The Quality Inspector may also be required to complete other duties as assigned.
9.
The Quality Inspector will initiate, propose, or provide solutions related to potential process improvements to reduce or eliminate the generation of waste, the handling or disposal of waste through reclamation and/or recycling of material.
10.
The Quality Inspector will act as a liaison between Shipping and Quality to ensure accurate document control.
