Summary:
The Business Banking Credit Specialist oversees local market Business Banking portfolio risk on an ongoing basis by monitoring customer credit-worthiness, adherence to loan terms and general business conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors maturing loans and upcoming renewals with support from Monitoring Analyst Team.
Coordinates timely collections of past-due loans with Business Banking Central Collections Group (CACS).
Coordinates various credit administrative activities and reporting with the Business Loan Center, Central Collections, Special Assets, Business Banking RCO, Credit Administration and local market senior management.
Maintains and manages small portfolio of large dollar or complex credit accounts.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of Business Banking or lending experience
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics
Prior knowledge of SBA loans
Excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.
Ability to multi-task
