Responsibilities:
- Assist the Superintendent in overseeing construction projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met
- Help create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and vendors on site
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, including daily reports and change orders
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or related field
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore or HeavyBid
- Experience with construction estimating, contract management, and budgeting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and clients
Skills:
- Budgeting: Ability to create and manage project budgets, track expenses, and make cost-effective decisions.
- Supervising: Experience overseeing construction projects, managing teams, and ensuring work is completed according to specifications.
- Construction management software: Proficient in using software tools such as ProCore or HeavyBid for project management tasks.
- Construction estimating: Knowledge of estimating techniques to accurately determine project costs.
- Contract management: Familiarity with contract administration processes and ability to review and negotiate contracts.
- OSHA: Understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance on construction sites.
- Quality control: Ability to conduct inspections and implement quality control measures to ensure project standards are met.
