Title: Data Processing Coordinator – Rail Supply Chain
Location: GE Transportation (A Wabtec Company) – Grove City, PA
Job Description:
Data Coordinators are responsible for assisting the materials team in receiving and processing supply chain information and Bill of Material (BOM) usages.
Enter incoming orders and make material changes by creating and maintaining records and compiling reports.
Work in conjunction with internal manufacturing teams to ensure data bases are updated in an accurate and timely manner.
Essential Responsibilities:
Performs accurate and timely entry of data based on requirements.
Enters orders.
Updates promise dates in internal and customer data bases.
Identifies and escalates gaps in material and finance data information with appropriate level of urgency.
Update item information to include parts information, material lists and usage.
Monitors orders using system reports and communicates progress to leadership.
Proactively communicates to resolve discrepancies in up-front data preventing accurate or timely order entry.
Monitors and tracks material orders to identify gaps in on-time delivery.
Interacts with internal customers daily.
Assistant materials teams to ensure all orders are tracked correctly.
Help the coordination between the warehouse inventory and production by tracking when parts are ready use and when material levels are running low.
Skills & Qualifications:
Associates or specialized skills training/certification desired but not necessary.
Experience with order entry, data entry and customer service experience.
Excellent data entry skills (Oracle knowledge is a plus).
Be able to pass a drug screen and comprehensive background check.
Be available and capable to work an Off-Shift schedule to fill coverage gaps in the production schedule.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
