(Ooltewah, TN Only) Summary: Responsible for inspecting and finishing metal surfaces to ensure cleanliness and absence of surface irregularities before painting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Grinds parts and/ or components to acceptable surface profiles.
· Applies adhesives, caulk, and bondo to appropriate metal surfaces.
· Smooths surface of parts to a specified finish.
· Polishes metal surface.
· Examines and feels surface of metal to detect defects such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal.
Other duties may be assigned.
