Summary:
Responsible for inspecting and finishing metal surfaces to ensure cleanliness and absence of surface irregularities before painting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Grinds parts and/ or components to acceptable surface profiles.
· Applies adhesives, caulk, and bondo to appropriate metal surfaces.
· Smooths surface of parts to a specified finish.
· Polishes metal surface.
· Examines and feels surface of metal to detect defects such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal.
Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience:

Day Shift opportunities available Second shift employees receive a $1.
50/hr premium (where applicable)
4-on 4-off schedule; off half of the weekends during the year
Overtime available
Double time paid for work on Sundays (regardless of whether 40 hrs.
have been reached in the work week)
