Quality Supervisor

Location: Lordstown, OH
Reports To: Quality Manager
Direct Reports: Quality Associate
Primary Function: The Quality Supervisor will provide support to the Foxconn Ohio production departments and ensure that products meet customer specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts safety talks, job instruction training, ergonomic evaluations, safety incident report & investigation.
Drive a safety culture that proactively focuses on behaviors of all employees.
Maintains workplace organization including 5S abilities.
Familiar with quality inspection standards and standardized work.
Ensures production parts are in tolerance and safe before advancing to the next process according to documentation (drawings, spec sheets, control plans).
Implements and encourages problem solving processes.
Respond to work environment to meet production schedule (schedule manpower as needed to support operation, performed PM checks of production inspection, understand the test equipment application).
Continually look for waste & eliminates it (indirect material, scrap, tools, safety equipment, office supplies, spare parts & manpower).
Provide environment which stimulates team members involvement & personal growth by maintaining communications, soliciting suggestions, development training plan, attendance records, performance improvement, support team mtgs, etc.
Ability to manage people in a positive manner utilizing skills of servant/participative leadership.
Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a participative environment.
Demonstrated ability to listen to and support team.
Experience working in a team environment.

Knowledge of continuous improvement processes and statistical process control methods.
Quality inspection or testing experience (dimensional, electrical).
Responsible for test equipment as subject matter expert in the way of its maintenance, calibration, and capability.
Support data collection, record retention of quality inspections, provide test reports, and report to issue monitoring system.
Required Education
High school graduate or equivalent training, plus additional training such as that acquired in the first one or two years of college.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Experience
Quality training like Kaizen 5S, Six Sigma process.
Completion of recommended corporate training programs.
Experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment.
