We have construction contracts in Western Pennsylvania to Northeastern Ohio.
This position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.
This position must have a basic understanding of all of the trades associated with industrial/commercial construction projects.
Experience in pre-engineered metal buildings, structural, steel, masonry structures, and/or wood frame construction required.
_Duties:_
• Works as a team with Field Foremen, Estimators, and Management.
• Plans overall construction schedule and schedule development.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within company policy.
• Manage and be responsible for financial aspects of contracts (budget, rental equipment, income /expenses, etc.
) to protect company s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client.
• Monitor/control construction to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate & resolve serious situations and implement corrective measures.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to field foremen.
• Participate as requested in the estimating, bidding and contract negotiations phases of assigned projects.
• Prepare and submit monthly, weekly progress reports and review cost reports.
• Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc.
as required.
• Review and approve all purchases and ensure purchasing process is followed.
• Timely pricing, approval and execution of Change Order management.
• Prepare, review and execute purchase orders, subcontracts, and other agreements for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers and field foreman for timely material deliveries• Prepare and track RFI s and other correspondences• Prepare and track material submittals, certifications and other required paperwork
