We are on the lookout for_ *Structural Fitters*_ for full-time Fitting positions in the _*Salem area*_.
*Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of Fitting experience in a "job shop" environment.
Fitting heavy fabrication is a HUGE plus and those applicants will take priority over those without.
* Schedule is M-F 1st shift.

_*Structural Fitter Qualifications*_
* Ability to cope, cut, and fabricate beams, columns, etc.
to blueprint specifications
* Proficient in reading blueprints, including all weld symbols
* Familiarity with standard and metric prints
* Experience with tack welding
* Solid background in working with structural steel and large weldments
* Able to work from sketches, prints, operation sheets, preliminary drawings, and verbal instructions
_*Structural Fitter Requirements*_
* Reliable transportation to and from job sites
* OSHA 10 certification is a plus (but not required)
* Welding certifications are advantageous (but not required)
* 3-5+ years of verifiable fitting experience
* 3-5+ years of verifiable structural welding experience
