AVI Foodsystems is seeking a motivated and experienced Systems Administrator POS to join the Information Technology team at our Headquarters Service Center in Warren, Ohio.
Position Summary
The principal responsibilities of this position are to participate in the ongoing development, implementation and support of Point of Sale systems and retail technology.
This includes POS hardware and software, networking equipment and vendor management.
The incumbent will report to the Director of System Administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage configuration, installation and maintenance of enterprise point of sale systems
Participate/lead installation timelines and deliverables while working with the field operations teams and client contacts
Work with network administrators to configure network hardware for client sites
Manage multiple vendors that support retail business
Research and perform testing on new POS and retail technologies and systems
Qualifications and Work Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience with enterprise point of sale systems, i.
e.
Agilysys, Micros, CBORD, 365 Retail Markets
Juniper or Cisco firewall and switching experience
Must be willing to learn, multi-task, manage shifting priorities in a fast paced environment
Must work well in a team
4 year degree (Preferred)
Any relevant certification (Preferred)
